Building Better Swimmers. Building a Love of Swimming.

PDUB Swim Club is a developmental swim club for kids from 1st through 8th grade who can already swim independently and make it across the pool.

We’re not traditional swim lessons, and we’re not a high-pressure competitive team. We’re somewhere in between – a place where swimmers of all ability levels can build their skills, get stronger, and learn to enjoy swimming.

Meeting Swimmers Where They Are

Our swimmers come to us with a wide range of experience.

Some are still working on the fundamentals of freestyle and need extra support to get through a workout. Others are ready for full swim sets and more challenging training. We adapt practices to the swimmer, using modifications when needed while focusing on stroke technique, endurance, and efficiency.

As swimmers progress, our goal is to prepare them for the next step – especially high school swimming. We also hold occasional practice meets during the season, giving swimmers a chance to experience racing, try different events, and see how their hard work in practice comes together.

We practice twice a week, giving kids a chance to build their skills without making swimming feel like a full-time commitment.

Work Hard. Have Fun.

We work on endurance and technique, but we also want kids to look forward to coming to practice. Ice cream treats, fun days, and team activities are part of what makes PDUB feel like a club rather than just another workout.

We believe swimming is a skill kids can carry with them for the rest of their lives.

Swimming for Life

Whether they eventually swim competitively, swim for fitness, or simply enjoy the water, we want our swimmers to leave PDUB stronger, more confident, and with skills they can continue to use long after they’re done with the club.

You don’t have to be a great swimmer to join PDUB. You just have to be ready to learn, work, and have fun.
